“AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE NATURAL WORLD AND WHAT’S IN IT IS A SOURCE OF NOT ONLY A GREAT CURIOSITY BUT GREAT FULFILLMENT.”
– DAVID ATTENBOROUGH
I am a zoologist and wildlife photographer with a passion for large predator conservation. My work as a science educator has given me the opportunity to inspire and engage a range of audiences in a variety of educational activities. These include: workshops, science shows, debates, talks and online activities.
My Winston Churchill Memorial Trust travelling fellowship in 2013 took me to North America to research large predator reintroductions with a view to opening the discussion to younger generations in the UK and thus providing a platform for informed debate and discussion.

DEBATES:
Critical thinking and discussion in science are vital tools to help future generations make informed decisions about scientific policies which will shape the future of conservation. Debates are one of the best ways to engage audiences with topical subjects like the reintroduction of animals where there are both direct and indirect impacts on people.
I have over 10 years experience in developing and delivering curriculum linked science activities and facilitating debates for 14 year olds and older.
