Kids’ Nature Camp FAQs

Where will the sessions take place?

We are based in The Earn Room at Bridge of Earn Institute, Station Road, PH2 9EA. Where possible, we will spend time outside at the local park and in the Institute’s Garden. Please make sure your children have appropriate clothing for the weather.

Who is this suitable for?

Children aged 6 – 10 years old with an interest in animals and nature.

How much is each session?

There are three different tickets available for each session, each with limited availability. Supporting Nature – Full Price | Supporting Nature – Donation Based | Gannochy Trust – Fully Funded. Please be honest and pay what you can afford to enable us to reach those who may find cost prohibitive.

When is Drop Off?

Morning Session: 9.15am – 9.30am | Afternoon Session: 12.45pm – 1.00pm

When is Pick Up?

Morning Session: 12noon | Afternoon Session (End of day): 3.30pm

Can we attend a full day?

Yes! Please book in to both the morning and afternoon session for the day required. If your child is staying for the full day, please make sure they have a nut-free packed lunch with them.

What do we need to bring for each session?

Please bring/wear clothing & shoes suitable for outdoor and indoor activities. Sunscreen, hats etc are essential for sunny days. Waterproofs if the weather requires them. Children should have a water bottle with them each day and a nut-free snack for each session.

What is the refund policy?

For refunds requested with minimum two calendar weeks notice prior to the session in question, a full refund will be issued. It may take up to 15 working days for the payment to be returned.

For refunds requested within two calendar weeks of the session in question, a refund will be considered but not guaranteed. 

What if we can’t make it on the day?

No refunds can be granted for missed sessions. However, if there is space available, it may be possible to attend an alternative date.

What if the session is cancelled?

If a session is cancelled by Wild Lives Education due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be given.

What are the sessions about?

There are broad themes for the sessions. Where a theme is repeated, the activities will be different to allow for children to attend more than one day. Currently, the sessions include: Birds, Minibeasts, Rainforests, Forest Animals, Trees, Animal Adaptations, Habitats, Nature Detectives & Pondlife.

What will we be doing?

Every session will be different and full of hands-on, engaging activities. There will be games, crafts, exploration and discussions. There will also be opportunities for free play and creativity.
